weoEDI - weoInvoice's unique solution for EDI communication of Electronic Invoicing
weoInvoice has developed a solution, in collaboration with Saphety, aimed at enabling the highest level of automation, transparency, and simplicity in managing the electronic invoicing process, which now stands as a new and mandatory reality for businesses.
As such, weoInvoice now offers the following new options in the invoice view:
Export CIUS-PT
This option allows you to export and save the XML file using the semantic data model proposed by the Portuguese Standard (CIUS-PT) for the respective invoice.
Send CIUS-PT
This option submits the electronic invoice via EDI directly to the client/public entity.
You should only use this option if your client is prepared to receive electronic invoices via EDI.
Sign PDF
This option applies a Qualified Digital Signature to the invoice in PDF format and stores the document in digital archive.
The signed invoice is compliant with the legislation governing electronic invoices and ready to be sent by email.
Sign and Send PDF
This option applies a Qualified Digital Signature to the invoice in PDF format and sends it by email to the client (if they have an email address).
The signed invoice is compliant with the legislation governing electronic invoicing.
Open PDF
This option allows you to view the PDF.
Unlike when using a browser, if you open the document with a PDF reader, you will be able to view the applied digital signature.
Send PDF
This option sends the signed PDF by email to the client (if they have an email address).
The sent invoice is compliant with the legislation governing electronic invoicing.
To which clients/recipients can I send electronic invoices?
Through integration with the Saphety Invoice Network, weoInvoice is prepared to communicate your invoices directly to over 3,000 entities across different networks:

weoEDI – How to Use It
The above-mentioned options, which allow automation and communication of electronic invoices to clients, are available in the Exclusive Plus(+) plan of weoInvoice.
The only exception is the Export CIUS-PT option, which is available in the Exclusive plan.

To make use of these options, you must:
2. Subscribe to an electronic invoicing plan on the Saphety portal.
You can check the list of available recipient entities via this link to ensure CIUS-PT submission is possible through weoInvoice.
3. Access weoInvoice Settings, activate weoEDI, and enter your username and password from your Saphety portal registration.
4. Begin using the weoEDI options in the view of closed (non-cancelled) invoices.
5. Your weoInvoice account will maintain a digital archive of all electronic invoices created.
